Facilitating Meetings and Retreats
Boards, management groups, and project teams often need to pause, take stock, resolve chronic problems, and renew their sense of purpose, direction, and level of operation. Taking a day or two away from the pressure of phones and routines, organizational leaders and groups can empower themselves to move ahead with clarity and renewed energy, based on shared goals and commitments.
As facilitator, I believe that group members are the true experts on the issues they face, and that they most need a structure, place, and process in which to work through the issues. My role is to smooth the way - ensuring full participation, surfacing and helping to resolve conflicts, and assisting the team in discovering the directions in which members want to go.
